Switchable PDLC Glass Film
Smart Switchable PDLC Glass is a kind of high-grade laminating glass, by sandwiching the PDLC film between 2 glass layers, then the laminated smart glass could change from transparency to opacity in an instant by switching with electricity power. When power is on the PDLC glass becomes transparent, when power is off the PDLC glass becomes opaque.

Working Principle
Smart PDLC film, or Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal film, functions as an interlayer within Switchable PDLC Glass. In its inactive state (power off), the Liquid Crystal Molecules are randomly dispersed, causing incident light to scatter and preventing transparency, resulting in an opaque appearance (milky white). When activated (power on), an electric field aligns the Liquid Crystal Molecules uniformly, allowing incident light to pass through unhindered, thereby achieving a transparent, clear state.
