Working Principle
Smart PDLC film, or Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal film, acts as a core layer within Switchable PDLC Glass. In its non-adhesive form, when the power is off, the liquid crystal molecules are randomly dispersed, scattering incoming light and giving the film an opaque, milky white appearance. When powered on, an electric field aligns the molecules uniformly, allowing light to pass through and turning the film transparent and clear.
